Part 135 Charter
eMan’s first implementation in the U.S was with a company consolidating several formerly independent Part 135 Charter Operators. Many of these operators managed the same model aircraft, causing considerable duplication of maintenance data. OEM maintenance subscriptions are very expensive and labor intensive to manage and keep organized.
eMan’s Administrators first evaluated the current subscription status of all operators, determined the duplicate and their costs, and presented the results to top management. The implementation of eMan immediately reduced the costs of the technical library by over 45%. Plus, the job of managing all the subscriptions, libraries, etc. was consolidated to one full-time person from several part-time A&P’s, who casually maintained the subscriptions time permitting.
After eMan was implemented, those A&P’s gladly went back to doing billable work and when they needed information for a repair, they simply logged into eMan and found what they needed with the confidence the data was current.
