The eMan solution was created especially for the aviation maintenance community, with early development beginning in the late 90's. Monarch Aircraft Engineering Ltd. (MAEL), Virgin Atlantic and bmi were the first to recognize the benefits of eMan, and were essential partners in the development and success of the eMan solution. Each year, AviIT has improved upon the eMan solution by adding additional functionality, features and end-user benefits. Many of the improvements and enhancements to eMan were the end-result of collaboration with our installed base of clients.
In 2007 eMan was introduced to the USA General Aviation marketplace, and quickly became noticed as the alternative to duplicate subscriptions, especially for those maintenance organizations with multiple locations, AOG capabilities, and/or 3rd. party user and access requirements. eMan has been shown to drastically reduce subscription costs, and the costs associated with the ongoing management and shipping of OEM revisions.
eMan and the new eManWeb ASP version have both proven to be cost-effective alternatives to traditional manual read & initial programs, often saving hundreds of man-hours per year for both mechanics and technical librarians. Several presentations to the FAA at local FSDO's across the country have also yielded very positive comments and we encourgage you to ask your PMI about eMan.
