The eMan solution revolutionizes  the management, distribution and access of all OEM aircraft maintenance and repair information. Specifically, eMan reduces duplicate subscription costs, and helps improve productivity for aviation-based Librarians, IT departments and most importantly the A&P’s and other mechanics performing maintenance on aircraft.

How does eMan work?

The eMan solution is a full thin-client, Microsoft .NET, server-based software solution that runs on commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS based hardware and software). eMan offers a full-suite of powerful browser based administration tools to control, manage and administer all electronic format documentation on local servers. The eMan solution is managed and maintained by a technical librarian. Most technical librarians manage eMan independently, with little or no IT support required.

The eMan solution enables any OEM application, maintenance manual, ERP application, or any electronic file (.doc, .pdf, etc) to be accessed and viewed anytime, anywhere, on any device, over any type of communications network via a simple to use and consistent browser-based, user interface.

The eMan solution eliminates the need for physically installing OEM applications and revisions on the end-user client machines.  eMan also automates any read and initial programs by automatically recording user acknowledgements and any manuals visited. With only one copy of any maintenance manual  available to view, the tracking and distributing physical copies of aircraft manuals, updates and bulletins is no longer required, resulting in improved version and revision control, safety and efficiency of the whole documentation process.

The eMan solution is installed on customer supplied servers at the customer location.  AviIT’s eMan support staff install the software and any OEM applications while providing the technical librarian with onsite personal, one-on-one training.  End-users are also given access training via GoToMeeting sessions for added flexibility.
